Diwali is the time to indulge in traditional sweets that bring happiness and festivity. Even if you are a beginner in cooking, making sweets at home can be easy and fun. Here are some simple sweets for beginners to try out for Diwali:
Made with desiccated coconut, condensed milk and cardamom, this is a no-cook sweet that can be shaped into cute laddoos.
Mix cocoa powder with condensed milk and milk powder and cook until it thickens. This is an easy fusion sweet for chocolate lovers.
A simple semolina sweet made with ghee, sugar and a pinch of saffron. Ready in under 15 minutes.
Just jaggery and peanuts. Melt jaggery, mix with roasted peanuts and spread it out to cool.
Fresh coconut and sugar cooked together with a little ghee. Classic Diwali flavour with minimal effort.
By reducing milk and sugar, these sweets are shaped into small discs and garnished with nuts.
Roasted chickpea flour mixed with ghee and sugar creates soft, melt-in-the-mouth laddoos that are easy for beginners to make.
