Enjoy a guilt-free Diwali treat with this No Sugar Kaju Katli recipe. This delicious, healthy version of the traditional sweet will add a special touch to your celebrations without compromising on taste.
1 cup cashews ½ cup powdered natural sweetener ¼ cup water 1 teaspoon ghee ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder Silver vark (optional, for decoration)
Grind cashews to a fine powder, pulsing briefly to avoid releasing oil.
Sieve the cashew powder to remove any lumps for a smooth mixture.
In a pan, boil water and powdered sweetener until it reaches one-string consistency.
Add cashew powder to the sweet syrup and mix well on low heat.
Stir in ghee and cardamom powder; cook until the mixture forms a smooth paste.
Once thickened, transfer to greased butter paper and knead gently into a dough.
Roll the dough, cut into diamond shapes, and optionally apply silver vark.
