Summer season calls for relishing lightweight sweets with citric notes. This recipe of orange coconut ladoo is the right delight you can store in your kitchen and enjoy for weeks. Boasting the goodness of coconut and orange, the sweet dish has an easy recipe that even a cooking noob can follow through.
1 cup orange juice 1 tablespoon sugar 1 drop of orange food color 2 cups desiccated coconut 1 cup condensed milk 1 teaspoon ghee 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder Chopped almonds and pistachios (as required)
Take a pan and boil orange juice with sugar in it. Keep stirring to ensure all the sugar dissolves.
Add a pinch of orange food colour to the concoction to bring a vibrant hue to the sweet dish.
Add grated dried-out coconut to the mixture along with condensed milk and cook for at least 5 minutes.
Pour a dollop of ghee on the top, chopped almonds and pistachios, and cardamom powder.
Once the mixture has cooled off, start making small balls with it.
