Learn how to make a delicious Butter Chicken Burger at home! Follow this easy recipe to create juicy chicken patties paired with fresh lettuce, creamy yoghurt, and a hint of mango chutney.
2 chicken breasts (500g), cubed 1 tbsp Madras curry powder 1 tbsp nigella seeds 60g unsalted butter, softened 6 small burger buns 2 tbsp mango chutney ½ cup Greek yoghurt ½ head butter lettuce, separated Coriander leaves Sliced long green chilli (optional) Lime wedges
Mix chicken, curry powder, nigella seeds, and butter in a bowl until the chicken is coated.
Shape the chicken mixture into patties using egg rings on a lined tray and chill for 2 hours.
Cook the patties in a frying pan over medium heat for 4 minutes on each side until golden.
Remove patties from the egg rings and cover them loosely with foil to rest.
Split burger buns and spread mango chutney on the base and yoghurt on the lids.
Assemble burgers with lettuce, chicken patties, coriander, and chilli. Top with bun lids and serve.
