A gluten free vegan traditional dessert made if sweetened rice deliciously combined with fruits will take you to a foodilicious adventure.
1 cup Basmati rice 1.25 cup Pineapple Juice 1 bowl Pineapple chunks ½ cup Sugar 2 spoon oil 2 stick of Cardamom 4 green Cardamom 3-4 cloves 1 cup water Saffron strands few 2 drops of yellow food color 2 drops of kevada water Few drops of Lemon Juice Pinch of Saffron Dry fruits
Take Saffron and mix it well with warm water. In a separate bowl mix water and 1 cup of pineapple juice.
Mix yellow food color and bring it to boil, add soaked rice and drop lemon juice. Cook until it's 90% done.
To prevent sticking, drain the rice onto a plate. In a pan put oil, add dry fruits and fry them well.
Saute cinnamon, cardamom and cloves together and mix it with remaining Pineapple juice and sugar.
Cook Pineapple chunks until they soften, then add drained rice, sprinkle saffron milk and kevada water. Mix in low heat.
Cook it on dum while covered with aluminium foil until the grains of rice separate. Turn off the stove, sprinkle with dry fruits and pineapple chunks.
