4 cups chicken broth 2 large eggs, lightly beaten 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1 tablespoon cold water 1 teaspoon soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil 1/4 teaspoon white pepper Green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish
Bring the chicken broth to a gentle simmer. Whisk together cornstarch and cold water to form a slurry.
Slowly pour the cornstarch slurry into the simmering broth, stirring constantly.
Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper to the broth.
Slowly drizzle the beaten eggs into the simmering broth, stirring gently in a circular motion. This will create delicate egg ribbons.
Serve the soup hot, garnished with green onions.
