The rich flavours of ripe peaches are expertly paired with the velvety texture of strained yoghurt in the delightful and creamy Indian delicacy known as peach shrikhand.
2 cups plain yoghurt 2 ripe peaches 1/4 cup powdered sugar 1/4 tsp cardamom powder 1 tbsp sliced almonds 1 tbsp chopped pistachios
Take a strainer and strain the curd and refrigerate around for 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Now in a blender add the strained yoghurt, chopped peaches, powdered sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands.
Blend until all the ingredients are well combined and you have a smooth mixture.
Check the taste adjust the sweetness if you want now Transfer the peach shrikhand to a serving bowl.
Garnish with chopped pistachios on top. And refrigerate enjoy this creamy fruit delight.
