Bhindi Masala, a popular Indian dish, is perfect for summer. This quick and easy recipe brings out the best of okra's flavours, making it a delightful addition to your meals.
250 grams bhindi (okra), chopped 2 tbsp oil 1 onion, finely chopped 2 tomatoes, finely chopped 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp garam masala Salt to taste Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften. Add turmeric, red chilli, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well. Add chopped bhindi and cook on medium heat until tender, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
