Delhi’s Mohabbat ka Sharbat At Home

The popular summertime beverage Mohabbat ka Sharbat with Cardamom is created with Rooh Afza, watermelon, milk, and ice cubes and is sold on Delhi's streets.

Ingredients

3 cups (750 ml) full cream chilled milk, or any other milk of your choice Half watermelon (about 1.5 kg) 1/4 cup sugar, or to taste 1/4 cup rose syrup / Rooh Afza Handful of fresh red rose petals, edible (to garnish) 2 cups ice cubes, or as required

Step 1

Slice half of the watermelon thinly. After removing the seeds, add 1 cup of the watermelon pieces to a bowl. Put it aside.

Step 2

 Blend the remaining watermelon chunks with 1/4 cup of sugar. Make the watermelon juice by thoroughly blending.

Step 3

Add 3 cups of chilled milk to a sizable mixing basin. After that, pour 2 cups of the leftover watermelon juice into the same bowl.

Step 4

Whisk everything together, add in 1 cup of the diced watermelon chunks in the same bowl with Ice cubes and rose petals.

Step 5

Add rose syrup or Rooh Afza and give it a mix, Into serving glasses, pour Mohabbat Ka Sharbat.

Step 6

Now Sprinkle rose petals and a slice of watermelon on top of each drink. Stir, then devour right away.
