A delicious treat made with fresh apples, this moist cake feels like a treat during the hectic week but is extremely simple to make at home.

½ cup soft butter 1 cup sour cream 2 eggs 1 cup brown sugar 1.5 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1.5 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder 6 apples, cubed 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 pinch salt ½ cup chopped walnuts

Combine the softened butter and sugar thoroughly before adding the eggs and whisking until smooth.

Add the baking soda to the sour cream and whisk into the egg and sugar mixture.

Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and add it to the wet mixture, along with the vanilla and apples.

Fold gently to combine before transferring to a greased baking dish and topping it off with chopped walnuts.

Bake in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Slice and serve warm.
