500 gm mutton 2 tbsp curd 1/2 ginger 5 cloves garlic Salt to taste 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1/2 tbsp oil 2 cardamoms 1 cinnamon stick 1 cup onion

1 cup tomato puree 2 green chilies 1 bay leaf 2 tsp mutton/meat masala 1 cup water Handful of coriander leaves to garnish

First, add mutton, curd, ginger, garlic, turmeric, and salt in a bowl and prepare a marinade. Keep them aside for an hour.

Heat oil in a pan. Put cinnamon, bay leaf, and cardamom. Saute everything for 3 to 5 minutes.

Add onions and green chilies. Saute till onions turn translucent or start browning slightly.

On low flame, add the marinated mutton and let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Cover the lid and let the mutton cook.

Add meat masala and sauté for another 2 to 3 minutes. Add tomato paste and let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes.

Add water and cook well. When the mutton is soft and tender, let it simmer. Add salt and masala.
