Dahi Wale Pyaaz Aloo is a delightful Indian dish featuring tender potatoes and tangy yoghurt-infused onions. This easy recipe brings together flavours that perfectly complement each other for a satisfying side or main dish.
3 medium-sized potatoes 1 cup yoghurt 1 large onion, thinly sliced 1 green chilli, finely chopped 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon garam masala Salt to taste Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish Cooking oil

Boil, peel, and cube the potatoes. Set aside.

Whisk yoghurt until smooth. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well.

In a pan, heat oil, add cumin seeds. Once they sizzle, add green chilli and sliced onions.

Sauté onions until translucent. Turn off heat and let them cool slightly.

Combine sautéed onions with spiced yoghourt mixture. Mix in the boiled potatoes gently.
