Indulge in the irresistible combination of roasted peanuts and golden jaggery in this homemade Peanut Chikki recipe.
1 cup peanuts (skin removed) 1 cup jaggery (grated) 1 tbsp ghee (clarified butter) 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
In a pan Dry roast the peanuts and set them aside.Then roughly crush them using a rolling pin, Set aside.
In the pan, add ghee and grate jaggery. Stir continuously until the jaggery melts and forms a syrup-like consistency.
Once the syrup is ready, add the crushed peanuts and cardamom powder to it.
Transfer the mixture onto a greased flat tray. Using a greased rolling pin, roll out the mixture evenly to a thickness of about 1/4 inch.
While the mixture is still warm, use a greased knife to cut it into desired shapes.
Allow the Peanut Chikki to cool completely, Once fully cooled and hardened, store and enjoy!
