Ambode, also known as Masala Vada or Dal Vada, is a Karnataka special snack. It's a deep-fried delight made from a spiced mixture of chana dal, herbs, and spices, creating a crispy, flavorful treat.

1 cup Chana dal ¼ cup Chopped Coriander leaves 8-10 curry leaves 1 medium sized onion, chopped 6-7 Green Chilies 1 inch Ginger, chopped finely 3 tbsp Rice Flour ½ tsp Salt ½ tsp Turmeric Powder Oil for deep frying

Soak Chana dal for 4 hours. Drain water and reserve ¼ th portion of dal. Grind rest of the dal into coarse paste.

Now add this coarse paste back to the reserved chana dal. Add other ingredients to it and mix well. Set aside the mixture for 20 minutes.

Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into discs. Deep Fry on medium heat.

Fry till golden brown, remove and enjoy
