Crispy Vegan BBQ Tofu Sandwich With Slaw

A delectable vegan supper is ready in about 30 minutes with crispy tofu coated in BBQ sauce, topped with avocado, and a refreshing cilantro cabbage salad.

Ingredients

Tofu , ,olive oil or coconut oil, BBQ Sauce, Sriracha or Red Chili Paste (1 teaspoon), Cabbage, 2 Onion , Coriander, Vegan Mayo, Vinegar, Salt and pepper ,  Soft, toasted buns  Avocado

Step 1

Cut the tofu into two 1-inch-thick slabs, and then cut as necessary to suit the bread. Use paper towels to gently pat.

Step 2

Heat a pan, generously season it with oil, salt, and freshly cracked pepper.

Step 3

Now add tofu until crisp and intensely golden-colored on both sides. To make slaw cut cabbage, onion and coriander.

Step 4

Brush the tofu liberally with the mixture of BBQ Sauce and red chili paste making sure to cover the bottom as well.

Step 5

Before turning off the heat, let the sauce in the pan just barely begin to caramelize.

Combine after toasting the buns! To make it a more delicious,  add avocado and your tasty Tofu is ready to serve.
