Chicken Manchurian is so popular that it is practically synonymous with Indo-Chinese cuisine. Crispy chicken enveloped in a spicy, tangy, sweet sauce is everything to love about. This quick & easy recipe makes truly crispy chicken with an ample amount of sauce.
3 tsp Oil 1 Ginger 1 Garlic 1 Spring Onion 1 tsp Cornflour/Cornstarch Water as per requirement
For Marination Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast 1 Egg 1 tsp Soya Sauce 4 tsp Cornflour/Cornstarch All Purpose Flour/Maida Salt to taste Pepper to taste
For Sauce: ¼ cup Tomato Ketchup 1 tsp Soya Sauce 3 tsp Green Chilli Sauce 3 tsp Red Chilli Sauce 1 tsp Vinegar ½ tsp Sugar
Mix all the ingredients for marination.
Heat oil in a nonstick pan put the chicken in oil and fry till golden on both sides. Remove it and set aside.
Mix all sauce ingredients and set aside. Mix cornflour with water and set aside.
Add ginger, garlic, and spring onion, and fry in the remaining oil for a minute.
Add in sauce and mix well. Let it bubble up till it thickens.
Add the fried chicken in and the cornflour mix.
Toss well. Add in spring onion and mix well.
