As the rain pours down, there's nothing more cosy and comforting than curling up with a hot chai and a crispy snack. These Pohe Vade are so simple, you'll be making them all season long!
2 cups flattened rice (poha) 1 cup besan (gram flour) 1 finely chopped onion 2 chopped green chilies Salt to taste Water for batter Oil for deep frying
Soak poha in water for 5 minutes, then drain. In a bowl, mix soaked poha, besan, onion, green chillies, and salt.
Gradually add water to form a thick batter. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
Shape small portions of the batter into vadas. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
