A popular Indian snack made with maida dough and spiced potatoes, and peas, traditionally served with tangy tamarind or spicy green chutney.
2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons ghee or oil 1/2 teaspoon ajwain 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes 1/2 cup boiled green peas 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste Oil for deep frying
Mix flour, ghee, ajwain, and a pinch of salt. Knead into a firm dough using water. Rest for 30 minutes.
Heat oil, add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric. Add mashed potatoes, peas, and salt.
Divide dough into balls, and roll each into an oval. Cut in half.
Fold into cones, and seal with water. Stuff with potato mixture.

Now, fry on medium heat until golden and crispy. Drain on napkins.
Enjoy hot with mint chutney and ginger tea.
