A tasty and aromatic dish, coconut fried tofu can be eaten as a snack or as a side dish with a meal.
1 block of firm tofu 1/2 cup of shredded coconut 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs 2 tbsp of cornstarch 1 tsp of garlic powder 1 tsp of onion powder 1/2 tsp of salt 1/2 tsp of black pepper 1/2 cup of vegetable oil for frying
Take tofu wash and drain it. Now cut them into cubes or slices. Take a bowl and add shredded coconut.
Add breadcrumbs, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper and mix well.
Now Coat each piece of tofu in the coconut mixture, take a pan Heat the vegetable oil.
Add the coated tofu to the pan and fry on both sides until golden brown and crispy.
Drain excess oil on a napkin and serve them hot with your favourite dressing!
