The perfect recipe to keep kids and adults happy without piling on the carbs, this corn ribs recipe is quick to make when you crave a deep-fried snack.

INGREDIENTS

2 corn cobs, cut lengthwise 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1 teaspoon onion powder Salt and pepper, to taste Oil, for deep frying

METHOD

Heat the oil in a large frying pan while you mix together the seasonings in a small bowl.

METHOD

Cut the corn into strips and drop them gently in the hot oil to fry.

METHOD

Once the kernels start to brown on the edges and turn inwards, remove them on to absorbent paper towels.

METHOD

Toss the corn ribs in the spice mixture and garnish with some parsley, if needed. Serve warm.
