This mango rabri is a delightful take on the classic dessert by incorporating the favourite summer fruit in it. The milk blends well with mango pulp, complementing each other perfectly. Here's a mango rabri recipe for you to try:
1-litre full-fat milk 1 cup mango pulp 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 tsp cardamom powder Saffron strands and chopped nuts for garnish
Pour 1 litre of full-fat milk into a pan. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until it reduces by half.
Add 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
Add 1 cup of mango pulp to the simmering milk mixture. Stir well to combine the flavours evenly.
Continue cooking the mixture on low heat until it thickens to a rabri-like consistency.
Turn off the heat and then garnish it with saffron strands and chopped nuts.
Refrigerate for a few hours until chilled. Serve it cold in bowls or glasses.
