Creamy Baked Yoghurt: A Simple Recipe To Try At Home

Creamy baked yoghurt is a simple, delicious, rich, smooth, and sweet dessert. Only a few ingredients are perfect for those who love a light and creamy treat. Great for entertaining or as a quick and fuss-free sweet fix.

Ingredients

½ cup thick yoghurt ½ cup fresh cream ¼ cup condensed milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

Step 2

In a bowl, whisk together the thick yoghurt, fresh cream, condensed milk and vanilla extract (if using) until smooth and creamy.

Step 3

Pour the mixture into small ramekins or oven-safe bowls.

Step 4

Place the ramekins in a baking tray and pour hot water into the tray until it reaches halfway up the sides of the ramekins. This will ensure gentle and even cooking.

Step 5

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the yoghurt sets with a slight jiggle in the centre.

Step 6

Remove from the oven, let the baked yoghurt cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.

Step 7

Serve chilled; garnish with fresh fruits, nuts or a drizzle of honey if desired.
