Crazy For Cocoa? Try These Chocolate Kaju Katlis

Kaju Katli is obviously the most beloved of all the Indian mithais, but what if you combined it with a timeless international favourite…CHOCOLATE! Try this simple recipe for homemade chocolate Kaju Katli.

Ingredients

2 cups cashews 1 cup sugar ½ cup water 1 tablespoon cocoa powder ½ teaspoon cardamom powder

Step 1

In a food processor, blitz the cashews to a fine powder.

Step 2

Add ½ cup of sugar to a pan plus ¼ cup of water and cook till it becomes a sticky syrup.

Step 3

Add the cardamom, cocoa and cashew powder and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Step 4

Knead the warm mixture for 5-7 minutes and then roll the dough into ¼ inch thickness. Cut and enjoy!
