Bring the flavours of street-style samosa to your home with this easy recipe. Whether you are craving a snack, want something to pair with your binge-watch session or want to make a teatime treat for the family, this easy vegetable samosa recipe is perfect to get a tasty snack in the comfort and assurance of home.
2 boiled potatoes 2 carrots, finely chopped 1 onion, finely chopped 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon chilli powder 2 teaspoons garam masala powder 1 tablespoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon turmeric powder ½ teaspoon cumin seeds ¼ teaspoon ground cumin ⅓ cup frozen peas Coriander leaves Salt to taste and lemon Samosa wraps Oil for frying and masala preparation
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, ground cumin, ground coriander, garam masala, ginger, and chilli. Fry for 1 minute.
Add peas, onion, and carrots and cook for 1 minute then add mashed potatoes. Crush and mix.
Add chopped coriander, salt and lemon juice. Set aside.
Form pockets with samosa strips or homemade samosa wrap and fill it with prepared potato mixture.
Seal with water and repeat until all samosas are formed.
Fry the samosas in oil or using an air fryer or oven for no-oil cooking.
Serve with your favourite dip and enjoy.
