Fried rice is the ultimate comfort food. You can relish it as a snack or pair it with manchurian/ Chinese gravy for a delicious meal during lunch or dinner. Here is how you can replicate the recipe at home.
2 cups cooked rice 2 tbsp oil 2 tbsp chopped cabbage, peas 2 tbsp soy sauce Salt to taste 2 garlic cloves 1 tbsp vinegar 4 tbsp spring onion ⅓ cup chopped carrot, beans ¼ cup chopped bell peppers 1 tsp pepper ½ chopped onion
Cook rice and leave it aside to cool off. This will help you mix it with vegetables without breaking the grains.
Heat oil in a wok, add garlic and onions. Saute until they release their raw scent.
Add carrots, cabbage, and beans. Cook these on high flame.
Add capsicums and bell peppers. Saute them and add rice.
Pour vinegar and soy sauce. Adjust salt to taste and keep tossing ingredients on a high flame.
Garnish fried rice with spring onion and serve hot.
