Craving Something Sweet? Try These Gajar Halwa Balls

If you think Gajar halwa is too much to have at one go, try these Garaj halwa balls. They are full of rich flavours of carrots, dates, and nuts turned into bite-sized treats. These balls are a perfect fusion of sweetness and nuttiness. Here's how to make them: 

Ingredients 

100g (3/4 cup) Grated Carrots 1 tsp Ghee ½ tsp Cardamom Powder 100g (6 large) Soft Dates (Pitted) 25g (2.5 tbsp) Roasted Almonds 25g (2.5 tbsp) Roasted Cashew Nuts Desiccated Coconut for Garnish 

Step 1 

In a pan, cook grated carrots with ghee until softened. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Transfer the cooked carrots to a bowl and let them cool completely. 

Step 2

Blend dates, almonds, cashew nuts, and cooled cooked carrots in a food processor until a dough-like consistency forms. Chill the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up. 

Step 3

Divide the dough into equal portions and roll them into balls. Roll the balls in desiccated coconut and set them in the fridge until firm. Enjoy these delicious gajar halwa balls as a sweet treat!
