Maharashtrian bhakri is a variety of Indian bread made with rice flour. It is lightweight and pairs well with a bowl of spicy gravy. Here is a quick recipe for you to try out.
2 cups rice flour Water as required 1 tsp white sesame seeds
A three layered bread pakora can be your easy go-to tri-colour snack.
In a bowl add rice flour. Pass it through a sieve to remove impurities and lumps.
Take a small portion of the dough, dust it off with dry rice flour, and roll it.
Spread the bhakri on a hot skillet. Add some water to your palm, and press the bhakri to make its surface wet.
Sprinkle white sesame seeds on the wet surface and cook both sides. Serve bhakri with your choice of gravy.
