Garlic naan is one of the most cherished Indian flatbreads. Ask a garlic lover and they will describe it as phenomenal. It pairs perfectly with chicken, mutton, and paneer curries. Here is how to make it at home.
1 cup wheat flour, maida 3 tbsp water ½ tsp nutritional yeast, salt 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp nigella seeds 2 tbsp oil 3 tsp garlic ½ cup water 4 tbsp butter 2 tsp mint, coriander leaves
In warm water, add yeast and sugar. Keep it aside.
After a few minutes, add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead the dough with water and loose hands.
After resting the dough for 45 minutes, you will observe a rise in it. Level it, divide it into small balls, and keep them aside for another 15 minutes.
Melt butter and add garlic, coriander leaves, and mint leaves to it.
Roll small dough balls, and press garlic and nigella seeds on the surface.
After cooking the naan in tandoor, brush it with garlic butter and serve.
