Craving Dosa? Relish This Schezwan-Loaded Version At Home

A crispy and spicy street food offering in Mumbai, the schezwan dosa blends South Indian and Chinese elements in one delicious bite. Add some cheese inside if you prefer, and eat it with some fresh chutney and sambar.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup dosa batter 2 spring onions, chopped 2-3 tablespoons schezwan sauce Oil, for greasing Salt, to taste 1 cube cheese, grated

STEP 1

Season the dosa batter with some salt and bring a pan to heat.

STEP 2

Ladle a large spoonful of the batter and spread it in circular motion across the surface.

STEP 3

Sprinkle some spring onions, followed by a drizzle of oil on top to let the dosa cook for a couple of minutes.

STEP 4

Once the top of the dosa appears set, spread a generous amount of schezwan sauce all over.

STEP 5

Continue cooking for another minute for the dosa to crisp up, while you sprinkle some cheese.

STEP 6

Fold the dosa into threes and serve hot with chutney and sambar.
