Have you ever tried dahi poha? It’s a cooling, protein-rich dish that can help you beat the heat in summer. Quite similar to curd rice, you can enjoy it when your stomach is upset or load your body with calcium on any given day. Check out the recipe.
¼ tsp mustard seeds ½ cup poha 1 green, red chillies 7-8 curry leaves ¾ cups yoghurt 3 tsp oil Cashews Salt as needed ½ tsp chana, urad dal 1 pinch of hing ½ tsp grated ginger 2 tbsp milk
Wash poha and soak it for at least 5 minutes.
Add curd and milk to poha and mix the ingredients.
Pour oil into a pan and saute urad dal, mustard seeds, grated ginger, hing, chillies, and curry leaves.
Add cashews if you like. They add the crunch and elevate the nutrition quotient.
Once the dal is brown, pour the tempering over the poha-curd blend.
Top it with pomegranate seeds and coriander leaves before digging in.
