Discover the perfect way to make homemade millet noodles with mixed vegetables for a healthy, flavourful meal. This guide includes simple steps and basic ingredients to ensure non-sticky, tasty millet noodles every time.
1 packet millet noodles (70g) ½ cup mixed vegetables (1 small carrot, 1 tbsp capsicum, a handful of peas) 1 large onion Few curry leaves 1 packet tastemaker OR 1 tsp red chilli powder + 1 tsp garam masala powder Salt & water (as needed) 2 tbsp cooking oil A few drops lemon juice (optional)
Boil 2 cups of water with a few drops of oil and a little salt. Add noodles and cook for 12-15 minutes until soft but firm.
Drain and rinse the noodles in cold water to keep them non-sticky.
In a pan, heat 2 tbsp of oil and sauté chopped onions, curry leaves, and vegetables.
Add salt and ½ cup water, cover, and cook until vegetables are soft.
Mix in the tastemaker or spices, add cooked noodles and toss well.
Sprinkle a few drops of lemon juice (optional), mix, and serve hot!
