Diet is one of the most important parts of staying healthy in the summer season. While there are many dishes that you can eat to hydrate yourself, there are foods that you must avoid.
Soda is very tempting drink to have in summers, but it is detrimental as it might increase body heat and bloating.
Putting caffeine in your system is not the best idea for you to breeze through the summer.
Another thing you should avoid is seafood. Fish, prawns and other seafood are susceptible to getting spoiled quickly.
Meat gets contaminated easily in summer season and cab cause food poisoning.
Add sugar, cardamom powder, pista & almonds (if using). Take it off the stove and serve it once it has a thick coating consistency
Achaar or pickle is very high in sodium content and it causes skin problem in the hot weather.
Although it might seem extremely tempting, milkshake will not be quenching your thirst. It only adds to the calories.
Although junk food should be avoided in all seasons, but it is especially detrimental in summer season.
Eating tandoor cooked food might cause gastric problems and irritate the stomach lining.
Since they contain very less amount of water, dried fruits should be avoided in summer and fresh fruits should be consumed.
