Classic Arrabbiata Pasta For Weekend

Classic arrabbiata pasta is a popular Italian dish that is simple to prepare at home. It is spicy and flavorful.

Ingredients

1 pound spaghetti 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil 6 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or more, to taste) 1 can  peeled plum tomatoes, pureed Salt, to taste Freshly ground black pepper, to taste Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (optional)

Step 1

Take a pan and boil salted water.  As directed on the packet, add the pasta and cook until it’s done.

Step 2

Now in a pan add  olive oil, add  garlic and red pepper flakes. Stir the pureed tomatoes and cook until it’s thick.

Step 3

Now Add salt and black pepper to taste, add the Cooked spaghetti and mix.

Step 4

Heat and add oregano, chilli flakes and give it a gentle mix. Serve with garlic bread and garnish with basil!
