A lesser-known street food and breakfast kulcha of Amritsar, this bheega kulcha is drenched in chickpea gravy and topped with some more along with sliced onions.
The obsession of locals with chickpeas and all things deep-fried is no stranger to us. This breakfast combo pairs a classic puffed bread with chickpea gravy and a spicy potato curry.
Another staple from the Kulcha land is this stuffed aloo kulcha. Mashed potato filling, wrapped in a pillowy dough is cooked in a clay oven and served with dollops of ghee.
Take a bun-like bread and stuff it with a dry chickpea, tomato and onion filling. Toss in an imli chutney, the stuffing it all things tangy and tasty.
The crunchy tandoori kulcha is served with nutri or soya chunks instead of chickpeas for a change. The chunky and spicy curry is a perfect accompaniment.
