The almond croissant is a classic French pastry that also goes by the name "Croissant aux Amandes." The treat is well-liked and popular throughout the world and is known for its nutty and sweet flavour. The croissant goes perfectly with a cup of coffee and tea and is a delicious way to satisfy your sweet tooth.
4 croissants 1 cup of almond flour 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup softened butter 1/2 teaspoon almond extract Sliced almonds Powdered sugar for dusting
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice croissants in half.
Mix almond flour, sugar, butter, and almond extract to make almond paste.
Spread almond paste on the bottom half of the croissants, and top with sliced almonds.
Place the top half of the croissants back on and press gently to seal.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy your almond croissants!
