Cilbir: Elevate Boring Breakfast Eggs By Putting A Turkish Spin On It

While most of us might find the combination of eggs and yoghurt to be an odd one, this simple and quick preparation is a treat for breakfast. Replace poached eggs with soft-boiled ones and enjoy this delicacy with a piece of hot toast.

INGREDIENTS

2 eggs ½ cup Greek yoghurt 1 clove garlic, minced 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes 3 teaspoons butter 1 teaspoon chopped parsley Salt, to taste

STEP 1

Poach or soft-boil your eggs and set them aside while you whisk the yoghurt until smooth.

STEP 2

Season it with garlic and salt before layering it on a serving plate.

STEP 3

Heat the butter in a small pan and allow the chilli flakes to bloom in them while you place your cooked eggs over the yoghurt.

STEP 4

Drizzle the chilli butter on top of the eggs and yoghurt, garnish with parsley and serve.
