Looking for a creamy cocktail for your Christmas dinner? Make classic eggnog with this simple recipe.

2 eggs, separated 1/4 cup sugar, divided 1 1/2 cups milk 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup rum Garnish: grated nutmeg

In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with 3 tbsp sugar until well combined and fluffy.

Add milk, cream and rum to it. In another bowl, beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar until soft peaks form.

Combine both the mixtures. Divide between four cocktail glasses.
