Decadent with chocolate and spiked with gin, this cocktail is the perfect wind-up to a Sunday dinner party – tasting just like a luxurious dessert.
1 cup water 500 ml gin 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ¼ cup cocoa powder ½ cup dark chocolate, melted 4 tablespoons sugar 30 ml milk 15 ml cream
Add the sugar, cocoa powder, dark chocolate and water to a pan and cook into a runny syrup.
Strain and pour into a bottle and add the vanilla extract.
Once cooled completely, add the gin and shake the bottle thoroughly to combine.
To make the cocktail, combine 60 ml of this chocolate gin with milk, cream and ice cubes in a shaker.
