Chinese Idli For Sunday Breakfast

An intriguing and original Indo-Chinese recipe is Chinese Idli. This quick and simple recipe, which is made with Idli chunks and chopped vegetables and sauces!

Ingredients

6 Pieces Idlis (cut in quarters) 2 tbsp Oil 1/2 cup Chopped onion 1 and 1/2 tbsp Finely chopped Garlic 1 and 1/2 tbsp Finely chopped Ginger 2 Green Chillies 1/2 cup Chopped bell pepper 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp Red chilli sauce 1 tbsp Soya Sauce 1 tbsp Vinegar 1 tbsp Sugar 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder

Step 1

Start by heating a pan on medium flame. Wash and chop onions and Sauté it until cooked.

Step 2

Now chop Ginger, garlic, green chilli, bell pepper add it all into the pan and stir well.

Step 3

Now top the veggies with tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce, soya sauce, vinegar, sugar, red chilli powder and mix well.

Step 4

Now you can make idlis at home, using ready made batter or you can cook your fluffy idlis at home.

Step 5

Take 5-6 pieces of idlis cut them into small cubes, Add the idlis to the sauce and stir.

Step 6

Coat the idlis with the temping sauce and stir well. Now serve them hot and enjoy!
