Instant noodles come with a flavour packet which is packed with spices and salt. It elevates the taste of noodles exponentially. If you want to add an oomph, add a dollop of homemade chilli oil. Try this recipe.
2 bay leaves 1.5 cup olive oil 1-2 shallots 3 tbsp pepper 3 cloves of garlic Salt to taste 4 tsp chilli flakes 2 tsp cloves 2 tsp ginger 1 cinnamon stick 5 star anise 2 cardamom pods
Heat oil in a pan and add whole spices to it.
When bubbles start to form, add shallots, ginger, and garlic.
Cook until the aromatic starts appearing on the surface.
Keep the flame low and cook for another 5 minutes.
Make sure the spices do not burn.
Use a sieve and pour the hot oil on red chilli flakes. Store the chilli oil in an airtight jar.
