Rabri is a traditional Indian dessert that is prepared by thickening milk along with other ingredients to flavour it. This modern variant which incorporates chocolate in it is a must-have during the summer as it can be also enjoyed chilled.
1 litre full-fat milk 1/2 cup condensed milk 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 tsp cardamom powder Saffron strands (optional) Chopped nuts for garnish
Boil milk, simmer until reduced by half.
Add condensed milk, sugar, cardamom, simmer until thick.
Stir in chocolate until melted. Add saffron (optional), cool and refrigerate until chilled.
Garnish with chopped nuts before serving.
