Ingredients

½ cup Basmati Rice 1 litre Full cream milk ½ cup chopped dry fruits and nuts Jaggery to taste   1 tsp Ghee

Step 1

Soak the rice in water for about 30 minutes to start. Bring milk to a boil in a pan with a heavy bottom. Once the rice is done, drain it and add it to the hot milk while stirring it all the time.

After the rice is done, add the jaggery to the kheer and stir it in until it melts. Add a lot of dry fruits, like cashews and walnuts, to make the kheer taste even richer.

Adding a dollop of ghee to the prasad makes it a wonderful and delicious Rasiya Kheer.
