Cherries are delightful little juicy fruits that can be used for making several desserts. But cherry cupcakes with a buttercream frosting will totally be worth your time and effort. Follow this recipe and literally add a cherry to the cake.
1.5 cups all-purpose flour 1.5 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup butter 1 cup powdered sugar 3 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup milk 1 cup chopped cherries
Mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix the butter, eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
Gently mix the dry and wet ingredients till you get a smooth batter.
Fold in chopped cherries and pour the batter into moulds.
Bake for about 20 minutes and let the cupcakes cool.
Now, you can add buttercream frosting or enjoy it as is.
