Cheese stuffed veg omelette sounds like a hearty breakfast option. However, it seems a little complex when makhani sauce is also in the picture. This short guide will help you make the dish without hassle.

Ingredients

For Omelette 2 eggs To taste Salt A pinch of turmeric powder 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 chopped onion 2 Chopped fresh chillies 1/4 tsp grated ginger, garam masala Chopped coriander leaves 2 tsp Oil For Vegetable Filling 1 tsp Oil 1 onion, tomato 4 beans 1/2 cup carrot, capsicum Cheese as required Salt to taste 1/2 tsp black pepper

For Makhani Sauce   1 tsp oil 1 large onion/ tomato 5 grams of ginger 10 cloves garlic 10 cashew nuts 2 green cardamoms, cloves 1-inch cinnamon 8 black peppercorns 1 fresh green chilli 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, turmeric To taste salt 1/2 tsp sugar, red chilli powder 10 grams of butter 1 tbsp fresh cream, kasuri methi

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan. Put whole spices, and saute onions until translucent. Add ginger, garlic, fresh green chillies, cashewnuts, salt and tomatoes. 

Step 2

Once the tomatoes are soft, turn off the heat and let the mixture cool off. Grind it into a smooth paste. Strain through a sieve to get a smooth gravy base. 

Step 3

Next heat oil in a kadhai. Add the prepared gravy base, sprinkle salt, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder and other ingredients. Keep the consistency thick.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan and saute onions. Add other vegetables and spices. Cook them together until a luscious filling is prepared. In another pan, make an omelette.
