This creamy, rich spinach dip can be made with a handful of pantry ingredients and a healthy dose of cheesy goodness! Enjoy it as an accompaniment to potato chips, nachos or even spread on freshly toasted tortillas.
1 cup chopped spinach 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour ½ cup whole milk 1 teaspoon paprika powder 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons butter 2 cups grated cheese
Heat the butter in a pan and add the minced garlic to sauté until aromatic.
Sprinkle the flour and cook for a couple of minutes until it is slightly blonde.
Drizzle in the whole milk in a steady stream and continue to stir to avoid lumps.
Add the chopped spinach and paprika and a couple of tablespoons of water, to let everything wilt.
Once the spinach is cooked into the sauce, add the cheese and mix in to combine.
Transfer the contents into a baking dish and sprinkle more cheese on top.
Bake in a hot oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
