Samosa is a classic Punjabi snack that is perfect to pair with your evening tea. To add a twist to the classic, you can make cheese samosa that has gooey cheese and will surely melt in your mouth.
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup sweet corn 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 cup vegetable oil Salt to taste Water (as needed) Vegetable oil for frying
Prepare the filling by mixing boiled sweet corn, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, red chilli powder, and salt.
Next, make the dough for samosa by combining flour, salt, and oil. Knead till smooth.
Take small balls out from the dough, roll them into thin circles, place a spoonful of filling in the centre and fold it in a cone shape.
Seal with water and flour. Repeat with other circles cut out from the dough.
Heat some oil and deep-fry the samosas till they are crispy.
Serve with tamarind and coriander chutney, and enjoy the cheese samosa.
