Cheese pakora is a yummy Indian snack, perfect for monsoon cravings. Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, these pakoras are a perfect treat for cheese lovers.
200g paneer (Indian cottage cheese) 1 cup gram flour (besan) 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon garam masala 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste Water as needed Oil for frying
Start by cutting the paneer into small cubes or rectangular pieces.
In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, and salt. Gradually add water to form a smooth, thick batter.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until it's hot.
Dip each paneer piece into the batter, ensuring it is well-coated on all sides.
Now, carefully place the coated paneer pieces into the hot oil. Fry until golden and crispy on all sides.
Remove the pakoras from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
