While in South Asia, it may be referred to as kadhai, a wok is a heavy-bottomed round pan that cooks food faster than a saucepan. So what can you make in it?
Make way for some yummy omelette filled with mushrooms and loads of cheese. Toss it on a wok and cook it pretty well. Sprinkle spring onions and serve.
Take a wok and toss the popcorn kernels in it, along with oil and butter. Flavour with salt and toss it well until it turns slightly black.
Make this saucy spaghetti in wok by lightly stir-frying the long strands, with a tangy arrabbiata sauce and loads of veggies. Add in your shrimps and amp up the taste.
The chicken patty is shaped and cooked in a wok, while veggies are stir-fried alongside. This is the stuffed in a bun and the entire burger is seared in the wok too.
Give your prawns that smoky flavour by cooking them in a wok. Make sure to toss them continuously so that they don’t burn or the sauce doesn’t get too thick.
