Indulge in the perfect snack to accompany your drinks with this homemade peanut masala. Bursting with flavor and a hint of spice, it's the ultimate crunchy and savory delight.
Combine the besan with the rice flour and corn flour in a bowl. Toss in the masalas: salt, red chilli powder (Kashmiri red chilli powder), turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, amchoor powder, and baking soda.
The ingredients should be dry mixed. Now combine the raw peanuts with the dry ingredients. Don't just throw everything at once.
Add some more water and besan to the mixture and sprinkle it with water. Repeat this procedure twice or thrice to ensure that every peanut is completely covered.
Heat oil in a kadhai, fry the peanuts till golden brown. Transfer it on a serving dish. To prevent oil splatter, place a cheesecloth or tissue on the plate.
Prepare the drink, your chakhna is ready to be served.
