Chaitra Navratri 2024: Vrat-Special Paneer Tikki For Evening Snacks

If you’re wondering what to eat for Chaitra Navratri fast that is fancy, tasty as well as vrat-friendly, opt for paneer tikki. This delicious tikki is low in calories and high in fibre, keeping you full for longer time. This paneer tikki can be well accompanied by a cup of tea in the evening. Ingredients

1 cup paneer 2 medium boiled potatoes 2-3 green chillies 1tsp ginger 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp black pepper Sendha namak as per taste 2 handful of fresh coriander leaves 1-2 tsp ghee 2 tbsp singhara atta

Step 1

Nicely mash the boiled potatoes and shift the potatoes to a large bowl. To it add salt, cumi, coriander leaves and pepper. 

Step 2

To it, add paneer, flour, ginger, green chillies, and make a nice smooth and thick dough. 

Step 3

Give them shape in the form of tikkis and refrigerate them for at least 30 minutes.

Step 4

Meanwhile, heat an air frying, place the tikkis and brush some ghee. Let the tikkis fry for about 25-28 minutes. 

Step 5

Serve hot with chutney.
